![]() Sure, Han Solo had an Obligation - but he also had a Duty, after he signed on with the Rebellion. The only one that actually does make sense to me is morality, given the sliding slope of dark-side/light-side that is such a serious theme in the source material. The second problem is more serious, at least for me - it doesn't make a lot of sense. I suppose I could roll these separately at the beginning of every session, and I know there are guidelines for this, but it still feels wonky. So now one character comes out of Force & Destiny (and uses Morality) and two are looking at Edge of the Empire (using Obligation). If everyone is coming out of the same book, fine, but one player wants to do a Jedi(ish) and the others are thinking rogues. The first one is a problem of compatibility. But I'm running into a hiccup now that I have the whole game, and was hoping to get some feedback or advice.Įach iteration of the game uses a different background mechanic - Duty for AoR, Obligation in EotE, and Morality in FaD. We've played the beginner's set of Age of Rebellion, and really liked the narrative feel of the system and the ways it feels pretty darn Star Wars. I'm getting ready to run a campaign of the FFG SW RPG.
